- Started racing in 1965. Raced primarily on the road as we had no local track. I always wanted to do more track racing so traveled to closest tracks when I could. After many years I went to Europe to race the road and stayed on in the winter to ride the track for two seasons. Learned plenty! I am no longer actively racing. Am currently the director of the National Sports Center Velodrome in Blaine MN.
