Sorry for not getting back to you sooner - to be honest I had forgotten about this site for a while. The track is holding up extremely well. It's as good now as the day it was built. As for doing things differently - the only change would be to have it larger but that is impossible because we were required to fit an existing building which was formerly a hockey arena.
Thanks for your insightful comments re the revival of six-day racing in North America. I recently returned from the Gent zesdaagse. Six days of a full arena watching 6-8 hours of racing. Its perhaps easier in Europe as there is a cycling culture in most European countries. In Canada we have the action and speed of hockey as a National sport. Yet 75 years ago cycling/six-day racing was very popular in Canada. Everynight during the Toronto six day race in the 1930s the radio would describe the action. A Montreal friend has suggested that you attract a crowd with on opening act like Cirque du Soleil. Bottom line keep working at it and you will find the right formula. Arnold
